I gifted this drawing to my love, @paulmcoffman last Christmas. It’s for his mother, Maria who passed away a over a year ago. When Paul was at hospice with her, he came out for some fresh air, and saw what appeared to be an octopus on a nearby water fountain. Upon further inspection, he realized it was indeed an octopus, but a realistic toy one. Paul told his aunt about it, and the next day his Aunt suprised him with a little toy octopus from a gift shop. We finally did the tattoo yesterday, which would have been Maria’s 60th birthday 💕

Fun fact: I LOVE to cook. Todays lunch: Shitake & Sun-dried tomato Savory Oats. I made a broth with dried shitake mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, basil, celery, garlic, onion and a dash of Bragg’s liquid aminos, to cook the steel cut oats and quinoa in. Then through an egg on top! How’s that @followyourfork ?
